Welcome to SC Reptiles - Leopard Geckos Morphs, this site is dedicated to the captive care and breeding of Leopard Geckos.  Currently we have several different morphs.

The Leopard Gecko (Eublepharis Macularius) belongs to the family of geckos (Eublepharidae) that have moveable eyelids.  It is a small lizard reaching lengths of about 20cm nose to tail.  They are one of the few geckos that cannot climb any vertical surface, indeed they would have trouble escaping from a twelve inch high glass tank.

Leopard Geckos originate from Pakistan, Afghanistan and north-western India.   Their natural habitat is dry, they only require humidity to ease shedding, hence keepers provide moist moss boxes within the vivarium setup.  If a moist box is provided then regular spraying of the vivarium is unnecessary.

This hardy lizard is an ideal first pet lizards, but also for the more experienced keepers the different morphs provide an interesting breeding project, which can in turn provide financial benefits through the sale of excess hatchlings.

My geckos are fed on a variety of food items; meal worms, tiny hoppers, pinkies and wax worms.  Another popular food item is crickets, but I prefer not to use these.

Other animals in my collection are dogs, newts, frogs, toads, tortoises and a stunning collection of Royal Python Morphs, rare type of Iguanas and the beautiful Blue Tree Monitor Lizards.

I am very proud of the collection and place every effort in the care and welfare of all the animals.

I hope you enjoy this web site it is regularly updated so please keep revisiting.
